OK I'll be the first one to comment.
This is a nice , but enigmatic image. You really have developed your style into something very personal. Did you think that possible when you started?
Petra: Wim, i'm glad you're the first to comment
And to answer your question, no i never thought it was possible to get my own style....When i started 1 1/2 year ago with photography (because of you lol) i knew nothing.....i feel i learnt so much since, and i really hope this is not all....i enjoy it so much! Petra
I can just imagine your thoughts and wishes, Petra!
The DOF, needless to say, is perfect! Now, go get your work done.

Great stuff and you were really digging into the sand here
Petra: lol Louis! I made a hole in the sand on the beach...put a shirt in to protect my camera, but weeks after still sand everywhere...

Looks like a sandy camera, but this is a really lovely shot! I like the inverted choice of fore and background. Clever as usual.
Petra: Yes Martin, weeks after the sand was still everywhere in my camera...lol
Not a smart thing to do isn't it? Petra

I can't believe you're taking pictures for just a year and a half, Petra. Your photographs are so mature in terms of composition and light balance.
I wonder what do you study so hard that you don't have much time for blogging?
Petra: I dont study anymore Viktor...to old for that, lol . Its work i am so busy with at the moment.
Thanks for your lovely comment! Glad you like my photos... Petra

Fantastic shot! I do not know why, but when seeing this photo has made me remember to the film of Charlton Heston in the "Return the planet of the simios"?
Petra: Dont know that film Jose Angel, so i cannot possibly answer that, but i am glad you like it though!
Petra
Very interesting. I love the shapes.
I understand being away, I have been an absent blogger myself. hard to do this and work for a living.
Petra: Agree Gail...unfortenatly a day only has 24 hours in it! Good to see you back though!
Petra
I like it for all the reasons everyone else does, but what is in that glass??
Petra: Its the one of the same glasses that are in this photo Nigel,
http://petra.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Zomersprookjes..../ In the glass is a tape recorder hidden that tells a story...so if you put your head close to the glass you can listen to it..
Great shot. Very creative.
Petra: Thanks a lot Gale!
