Thank god I wasn't reborn as a donkey. Thanks for reminding me, darling.
I think it would be possible to ask [aren't those ears turned back as though inviting a question from me?]...but I doubt I would understand the response.
Lovely, shaggy, winter coat...should help with the European winter.
HA! Now I'm picturing you taking this photo, Petra.
Wonderful angle of view and very good choice of B&W !
"wonderful angle of view" idd en mooie zonneplekjes op het vel van de ezel, ik zou hem graag willen strelen. De ezel kan en wil niet concurreren met de auto- dit maakt de foto ook duidelijk.
Yes, it's the shooting angle that really pushes this up the ladder. richard.
Aw bless! This made me smile, but I would hate to come back as a seaside donkey. (:o) Like the black and white, by the way.
All had been said .. Nice shot
made a bit of an Ass of this one Petra!
The shaggy coat makes it look like a donkey, but then you don't saddle a donkey like this. The ears are a bit short and the pied colouring is also unusual to be a donkey.
So what gives? Horse or donkey? Is it a saddle or is it some dutch shenannigan? All of that doesn't matter for the picture is great in contrasts, field depth and composition. It is also a fun pic for monday
Agreed with Richard and would add the tones and the DOF.
*grin*
