Hello, not sure we've met
Petra: Hallo!
Puro estilo Petra.!! Magnífico!
Petra: Thank you Jose!! smile
Hi Petra,
Very nice self portrait treatment. smile I also like the picture Ginnie posted of you in her blog. Glad the two of you got to meet!
Petra: I am so glad Ginnie and i did meet...its special!
Thank you for your very kind commentsmile
I like this. You look very pensive even though we can't see any detail. I am not sure how you pulled that off, but it certainly works.
Petra: Most of it is luck Martin...sometimes i have something in my head and i cannot get it to work...and sometimes i just do something and it does work!
That's a nice one, mysterious... there's really an atmosphere here maybe because of the grain, and this background light. Nice spot Petra.
Petra: Thanks first i was not sure about the grain, but i guess it works

This feels like one of those pics that could have lots of symbolism, when one door closes, another opens...or light at the end of the tunnel...or "you fill in the blank." This kind of pic is always good for where our imaginations can run wild.

HA! It doesn't take much for mine, as you see. smile
Petra: I think you might have a clue what this one means to
Love this. There is something very Diane Arbus about this.
Petra: To be honest i had to google Diane Jose your comment makes me happy
Thank you
Super shot- looks mysterious and, as Ginnie says, you can use your imagination to invent a story to attach to this- the light on your face is great and the grain and softness gives the whole thing a "snatched, secret" feel. Love it!
Petra: i would love to know what story everybody attaches to this one...
Glad you like it David...means a lot to
nice texture, mystifying.
Petra: Thanks
Like the grain effect
Nice self portrait
Petra: Thanks

What i love is how still you apear in the shot Petra. i was experimenting with some low lightshots last week and could not get anything quite so clear. fabulous shot.
Petra: I guess it was just a lucky shot Neil...and it came out just as i wanted
Hi Petra; well done on this shot, you've created a moody atmosphere.
Petra: Thank you Chris

This is really good, the graininess, the light and the composition too all work to make a special picture.

Why is it so significant to you?
Petra: Glad you like it Ellie!
Like it once again - I see that you're very talented with experimentation and I like that ! And nice to meet (a bit of) you smile
Petra: Thank you very much for this very kind comment
A dark one, Petra.... I like it though.
