If it would take me to my next world, Petra, I'd be on it in a New York minute! The vantage point leads me to believe YOU were on it?? smile

Oh, a wonderful horse pic- I love how you have depictured the movement of the horse (only a part of hem/herl, the fluttering mane, the street in front of him/her)! This horse with the white aristocratic mane must be a special horse, a horse from medieval tales around King Arthur and his heroes or from a fairy tale or...!

Beautiful, delicate, gentle...something out of a time past when white knights rescued princesses.

But oh, what can I consecrate, say,
to you, lord, who taught the creatures hearing?
My reminiscence of one spring day,
at dusk, in Russia - a horse appearing ...

From the village it came, mushroom-white,
his fore leg hobbled, tripping,
to be alone on the meadow for the night;
the curls of his mane whipping

against his neck in exuberant time
with the clumsy inhibited gait.
How the fountains of equine blood climbed!

He felt the vastness, and if!
He sang and heard - the cycle of your myth
was held in him.
His image I consecrate.

I shot a similar picture in Myanmar [Burma] a couple of years ago [ http://www.all-my-world.com/myanmar2006/bagan%20life/slides/bagan%20life20%20nov2006.php ]

I like yours very much, Petra!

Is this the same horse from the other images. I love this, I actually feel I am on the horse (and I don't like riding horses). Nicely done.

Excellent as always. For me it is so much more, since we did endurance riding yesterday - the view of 80 kms - fortunately the ride was in a nature reserve with landscapes and wild animals like rhino's

very good job
