Back are in my space!

I think your perspective puts me at disadvantage to Dora D, and I can't help feeling "she" is not much interested in my welfare!

Very fine image, Petra.

Funny that we should both post something on SC on the same day. Portraiture with mood and attitude? Well worth exploring, imo.

I suggest that Dora D. has some problems (with herself or/and her ambiance), maybe she likes to hide herself behind her hairs, she seems to look inwards, perhaps she wants to say something, but she hesitates- I have to admit all my interpretation, probably the situation is quite different- in any case an impressive, original portrait and a pic which evokes some thoughts..!

A mystery Dora D.

Is she a real person or is she a mannequin?

Oh yes, after having read Louis' words I now doubt too if 'she' is a "real person"- or can a person so grow stiff, being paralysed by a deep sorrow...? A mysterious pic indeed!
I love this very special atmosphere !

Dora, I don't know how I could change your mood, I know not everybody is a friend of Christmas, but there used to be some things and some dear old rituals which are so beautiful- for example the candles, some songs, some firgreen, the smell of forest in the room, the smell of freshly baken cookies...- that they could- perhaps- touch and move you to stand up and to go to..., there must be a change and there can be a change...
