Superb!
A beautiful, and unique, image, Petra.

Tonto, the Lone Ranger's Indian side-kick, doesn't go in for flashy white horses or silver encrusted leather kit. Tonto is sleeping under the the shady tree, off to the right, while his sleek mustang takes a power snack.

Later, perhaps, if they are in the mood for it, they might saunter into town to see if there are good deeds to be done...
Petra: lol...lovely story again Ray! Thank you very much smile

Oh yes, Petra, horses (Ackergäule, I assume) are always for me the embodiment of power and force and vitality- "real flesh and blood" I can imagine that while looking at their flanks, back parts...- I like that you have photographed them from different points of views and rhe blurring effects let keep them in a little distance so that they are in their own world, quietly grazing, belonging together as a pair, never disturbed by us, only obeserved with pleasure by our eyes!
Petra: you are right Philine they are Ackergäule (Belgian horse) one of the strongest and powerfull horse breeds.
I tried to keep low and not bother them (there were 14! in this field) but after they noticed me they were so curious and followed me around the field and i could get only one other proper shot. That will be next post smile

I feel as if i am, perhaps, another horse in the scene with my head pressed down to the grass too. Love the perspective and the tones and the way I become one with the photograph.
Petra: Thank you very much kathryn!
apreciate your comment a lot

Really lovely shot, Petra. Love the low angle you have chosen and the dof and conversion are perfect. (:o)
Petra: Was looking for a slightly more original angle then the "standard" horse photo's.
Glad you like it Rosalyn smile

Very nice, love the DOF and B&W tone. I would like to see this cropped so I am not looking at a horse bottom though.
