I KNOW Mal will love this, Petra. I especially like the lone person in the foreground, walking to join the gathering. So, was there something special going on there at the water's edge???

That streak of light comes right from the water onto the land. Excellent and mysterious. The water looks like rice paddies, but it could be the grain/texture you have added.

Makes me think of the fishermen's families waiting for the boats to come in, in one of those towns around the Ijsel.

To my likeys.
Petra: No grain added Louis, because of the slow shutterspeed it appears like this!! Just lucky that it turned out like thissmile
Thanks for your comment Louis
Nice shot; I at first thought the figures were a bunch of penguins.
Petra: Maybe this performance had something to do with penguins Wim lolgrin

Dreamlike & slightly unsettling: the lone figure is like an abandoned child. This is a wonderful shot, Petra.
Petra: Thanks Dave..i was very lucky to "walk" into this scene..
Wonderful shot Petra - the lone figure really makes it transcend.
Petra: Thanks Jose...its a kind of lucky shot though...without the figure it would'nt have had the impact...
