well petra you did a fantastic job. congratulations and looks like that mal fellow is telling you a few good secrets. how long was your shutter speed. next thing we know you will be using a r72 infrared filter.
Petra: Thanks Neil! just wrote down the exifs....shutterspeed was 20 sec.
Is that an expensive filter? Maybe i can just steal it from him.....grin

Okay, Petra. When I see you, you'll have to impart Mal's expertise on to me. grin

Needless to say, I'm impressed.
Petra: Would love to Ginnie, but i am afraid that we will have to visit Mal then because our dutch coast is not very interesting for photo's like this...smile Glad you like the photo!
wonderful colors Petra
Petra: Thank you Nicolasmile
Beautiful shot and the colours are simply stunning.
Petra: Thanks a lot for your visit and very kind comment Elsie
For a first attempt, this is really good. It could easily be one of Mal's. The colours are wonderful.

This is something else - excellent. You shouldn't knock the dutch coast. On a cloudy day when the wind is blowing sand along the beach, that can make an awesome shot. But I understand what you mean.

So I am waiting with my breath held up for the next long shutter shot - don't let me keel over for lack of breath smile
A fine one, Petra. Beautiful colours!
Petra: Thanks Wim...was curious what you would think of this..
