Was going through my archive this evening and found this photo.......and realized that there are only a few people that i have known for all my life..

This is Irmgard (right side of the photo) and me (on the left). 

 Irmgard is a dear friend that has never been out of our lives.

Her parents came to live next door to my parents, and when Irmgard was baptized her parents asked mine to be her godparents....

Now she is a visual artist and you can admire her beautiful work   HERE

This photo was taken by  WIM  also a great artist and dear friend.

This photo definitely says it all, Petra. You're both very lucky! Hopefully you'll have another similar photo when you're my age (61). smile I've never had a friend like that, since day 1, so you are indeed fortunate.

Although you look nothing alike you could be sisters from the sentiments in this picture. Treasure it.

P.S. I don't remember taking this photo(!)
Petra: You took this photo with my camera on my parents party when they were celebrating their 40 th wedding day, remember?
